Unsure what the Eclectic is? It is a competition run for the ladies at the Club who have a current handicap. The aim is to better each hole you play after an initial round of 18 holes, and you have 10 rounds to try and improve your score on each hole. After the 10 rounds, it is the person with the lowest overall gross score less their Playing Handicap on the first round recorded.
There is a cash prize for the winner and runner-up in each category. There are 3 groups: Division 1 (Handicap Index up to 20.0); Division 2 (Handicap Index 20.1 – 29.0) and Division 3 (Handicap Index 29.1 – 54.0).
It is played twice a year during the Summer (1st April – 30th September) and Winter (1st October – 31st March) months.
